How it all Started
In the late spring of 2015 three practitioners from different occupational disciplines met to enjoy a good bottle of wine and to discuss the possibility of cooperating by combining their extensive knowledge in design, scientific illustration, modelling and organismic biology.
Soon the idea was born to design, manufacture and distribute prime goods of daily use decorated with anatomically well-grounded and graphically well-prepared attractive reproductions of animals and plants. This product range of everyday items is planned to be expanded by and by with objects of taxa, e.g., 3D models and jewellery.
However, the objectives of the involved guys do not only comprise the wish to sell sustainably and fairly manufactured goods with excellent depictions of both extinct and extant organisms but also the aim to provide interested people of the worldwide community with sound biological information on the animals and plants figured. These facts are complemented with the knowledge of their evolutionary history and discussions of geological topics relating to palaeontology.
With this in mind the three practitioners separated and started work. The early result of their commitment is the formation of the new trademark PALAEOLOVE.
