Right of Rescission / Power of Revocation

Order Cancellation

You can revoke your order/your contractual declaration without giving reasons within 14 days in written form (for example via letter or office@palaeolove.com) or, if the item is sent to you before the lapse of time, by returning the item. The time limit starts after the written admonition, but not before the item has reached the recipient (for recurring consignments of similar items not before the first partial shipment). For complying with the term of revocation, the timely shipping or revocation of the item suffices. The revocation is to be addressed to:

Consequences upon revocation

In case of a valid revocation, received benefits on both sides must be returned (money for goods). You have to compensate, if you cannot fully or partly return received benefits or potential usages, or if the item’s condition has deteriorated. You only have to compensate for the item’s deterioration and for used benefits, in so far as the item’s usages or the deterioration is ascribed to the handling of the item which exceeds examining its features and its functionality. The term “examination of its features and its functionality” is defined as testing out the respective item, as it is possible and customary in a shop. All items of this online service are able to be dispatched and are to be returned at our own risk. You have to bear the regular costs of the return consignment. Obligations to refund payments are fulfilled within 30 days. Your time limit begins with sending your declaration of revocation or the item; ours begins with their reception.

Information on exclusions of the right of revocation

The right of revocation does not exist for items that are crafted to customer specification or that are unambiguously customised. It also does not exist for books or book-resembling printed goods, audio or video tapes or software, if you unsealed the delivered books, the book-resembling printed goods or the data medium.

Information on return consignments

The terms stated in this paragraph are no requirement for the valid exertion of the above mentioned right of revocation:

• Customers are asked to notify the seller of the upcoming return before returning the item (office@palaeolove.com, phone number on workdays from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm Central European Time: +41 44 680 35 55). That way you enable the seller the quickest possible attribution of products.
• Customers are asked to return the goods to the seller as a postpaid parcel and to retain the posting receipt.
• Customers are asked to avoid damages to or impurities of the goods. The item should be sent back to the seller in the original packaging with all accessories. If the buyer does not possess the original packaging anymore, he/she should use a different suitable packaging, which provides sufficient protection from shipping damages, in order to avoid compensation claims because of damages due to inadequate packaging.
